Tarantulaz are the London duo of Sir Piers & Toni Economides who have served up some deep and soulful house music over the last few years including their ‘3 SIDED EP’ on Papa Records, ‘They Forgot It’ feat. Monique Bingham on San Francisco's OM Records and their highly acclaimed remix of ‘Sexy Make Up’ by Peven Everett on Soul Heaven/Defected.

Their latest production, ‘Stop The World’ features the stand-out vocal and lyrical talents of Renn who is renowned for his live performances and work with Basement Jaxx, Jamiroquai and the Fun Lovin’ Criminals.

In the past she lent her vocals to the successful “D-Influence presents D-Vas” album, Reel People’s debut album “Second Guess” which featured one of the most successful productions of Reel People “Butterflies” and Rasmus Faber’s debut album ‘Where We Belong’ which featured the club hit single “Give It To Me”.

Miss Fearson’s smooth and warm vocals fit perfectly in Roberto De Carlo’s soulful House Music. The Original Mix is an inimitable classic soulful vocal House Tune with fierce drums, gorgeous Fender Rhodes chords, smooth funky bass line and guitars ala Nile Rodgers. The remixes have been made by Opolopo who have turned the track into a cosmic Nu Disco atmosphere that makes it completely different from the original, it could be a movie soundtrack from the 80s. The duo composed of Frank Ryle and Rob Hardt aka Cool Million who bless us with a remix that brings us back to the upbeat funk sounds of the 70s/80s and then there is Piers Kirwan (one half of Stereo Mutants) who adds his unique touch and takes the song to a deeper ground that guarantees to spread an uplifting feeling on the dancefloor. Quick recap: this here is Clarence Alexander "Skip" Scarborough. 
Yesterday (26/11) was his birthday in heaven.

Some of you probably never heard of this Grammy Award winning songwriter, but I bet all of you know Bill Withers' evergreen "Lovely Day".
And this man here is responsible for that evergreen.

He also wrote LTD's hit "Love Ballad", Patti Labelle's "It's Alright With Me" and a bunch of songs for my favorite band of all time, Earth Wind & Fire. 
And one of them is the gorgeous "Can't Hide Love".

First recorded by,- these days largely forgotten outfit-, Creative Source, that song took a whole new leash of life in the hands of Maurice White & co, transforming it into a whole new monster; so definite, every recorded version after is indebted to the one EWF put to reel.

So, to honor the man who graced the earth with this gem, I took 15 of those versions (yes, there are more!) and made a 12-and-a-half minute medley out of it, rendering from obscure takes by Perry & Sanlin and Hummingbird to live versions by D'Angelo & Dionne Warwick, not to forget originators like aforementioned Creative Source and, ofcourse, Earth Wind & Fire themselves.
