Vhyce returns to Pets with more of his beautiful signature cosmic disco and his timing is exquisite. Making his debut on Catz & Dogz label earlier this year with 'One Day We'll Float', the release landed just at the right time as we all plummeted into a bleak new year.

Now as summer begins to open up again, and things look a little brighter, he returns with equally precision-timed sounds. With its sultry bassline and big romantic pads, 'Monde Réel' hits with a big dose of hope. Translating to 'real world', this is a homage to the future. And that positivity remains on 'Insieme'. This time translating to 'together', it's another moment of unity as Vhyce takes us up and down the scale in classic Q&A arpeggiated style. Soft, gentle but emotionally soaring; you can almost feel the hugs as the woozy synths roll out.

Always one for balance, Vhyce includes the much tenser and introspective 'Subdued' for those darker moments when unity and togetherness seemed so far away. Then Catz N Dogz close the show themselves with a startlingly bright and dreamy take on 'Monde Réel'. Hopeful, fun, wholesome feel-good electronic music. Because Vhyce makes it so damned well. And because we all deserve to float again.

To celebrate his new single ‘Poplar’, a new extract from his forthcoming debut album (January 2022), Blutch invited two respected French producers to rework his new track: half of Scratch Massive, Maud Geffray, and one of the most iconic French electro ambassadors, Jennifer Cardini, accompanied by Damon Jee.

Both producer delivers a galvanizing and soaring club rework. A creative use of the track’s richness and vocals between dancing keys and italo vibes.

Maud Geffray’s rework turns ‘Poplar’ in a kaleidoscopic blend of good vibes full of happiness and light. A psychedelic and colorful vision fusing liquid notes and touch of the original vocal.

Jennifer Cardini delivers a darker and a tougher version from the start with percussive sounds and gradually swells with synths and kicks that pop, with fantomatic sample of the original vocal. Between light and darkness, an irresistibly dancing techno track.

Two classy remixes by producers who handle emotions well.

Also, our number one hit guarantor, JÜRGEN PAAPE, is represented here with his brand-new super hit ‘Alone In Italy’. His colleague MICHAEL MAYER is also in top disco spirits with ‘Talmi’. One of the secret weapons of the current season comes from STEPHAN BARNEM & FUTURISTANT. ‘Don’t Cry’ is a passionate New Wave belter for eternity. JÖRG BURGER proclaims a new, trippy genre: Cinematic Dance, before C.A.R. & PATRICE BÄUMEL slowly raise the energy level in the ‘Four Down’ Club Mix. JOHN TEJADA then cruises calmly at the desired cruising altitude while the cabin crew serves refreshments. ‘Duration’ by BARNT/MAYER pays tribute to an artist formerly known as Prince with grand rave romanticism, and about REX THE DOG’s summer smash hit ‘Change This Pain For Ecstasy’, there’s really nothing more to say. The Thuringian force of nature ROBAG WRUHME must not be missing here, of course. ‘Fire’ once again shows him in top form, with one of the dirtiest basslines in techno history. Joining us from London is HARDT ANTOINE, who spells u n d e r s t a t e m e n t with ‘All We See’. And finally, REINHARD VOIGT feat Eduard Weber bring it all together – live from the grand Comedy Barn of folk music. Cheers!
