Behind the Headlines

A melancholy piano piece that I created one late evening and into the night, August 2025.

I started out making music in the late 1980's using the Amiga. I was in the Amiga demo scene and I called myself Dr. Awesome. :) I made the music for a lot of Amiga demos, mostly by the group Crusaders, in which I was a member. From 1995-2005 I worked as a full time music composer for the video games company, Team17 Software Ltd. I composed the music for a lot of games on Amiga, PC, PlayStation, Sega, X-Box and Nintendo; probably the most famous game I composed the music for is "Worms" (and all of the subsequent Worms-games such as Worms 2, Worms Reinforcements, Worms Forts, Worms 3D, Worms 4 Mayhem, Worms Blast, etc. etc.). I now live in Norway and I own my own music company, Lynne Publishing AS. We are mostly involved with publishing "royalty free music" or "stock music"; which means that if you buy our music, you are also buying a right to exploit that music commercially and in-public.
