We would like to introduce you to Bernard "B.K." Jackson, he is a 17 year old saxophone sensation who stimulates the soul with rejuvenating gospel and refreshing jazz.   While on stage, his youthfulness explodes as he commands his audience with a maturity well beyond his years.  He has received numerous awards for his talent, with the most recent being winning the 2008 Capital Jazz Fest Competition.  Feelin Saxy is a cut BK wrote when he was twelve. I'm very proud to present to you an original, spring-welcoming, smooth-flowing jazz piece, with some of the finest (jazz) musicians here on SC. 

My immense gratitude goes to these guys jumping aboard without hesitation on basis of a sketchy idea I had - to forge a six man collaboration, upping the stakes of complexity. Coming out at the other end with another, great learning experience to behold and a track I will cherish.

Bernard “B.K.” Jackson is a 17 year old saxophone sensation, who stimulates the soul with rejuvenating gospel and refreshing jazz.   While on stage, his youthfulness explodes as he commands his audience with a maturity well beyond his years.  He has received numerous awards for his talent, with the most recent being The Winner of the 2008 Capital Jazz Fest Competition, The 2007 National NAACP ACT-SO (Afro Academic Technological Scientific Olympics), Gold Medalist Winner in Music Instrumental/Contemporary 
 
He has opened concert shows for national renowned artists such as, Kirk Whalum, Wayman Tisdale, Gerald Albright, Pieces of A Dream, Ken Navarro, Eric Darius, Walter Beasley, Paul Brown and the great blues legend, BB King. 
As the guest artist, he has done show stopping performances for large audiences such as the Capital Jazz Festival in Columbia, Maryland, WSJT 94.1 Clearwater Smooth Jazz Festival, 2007 Jazz At the Ranch, 
We have a full length CD that was released on August 27, 2008.
