"Here I Am" was originally supposed to be a duet with Grouch and Phonte.  I was excited to put the two of them together, but once they were recorded I didn't feel like their cadences meshed very well.  So at the last minute I cut one of Grouch's verses, added Ali, and re-arranged the order.

If you listen closely, you can hear another change that I made in the studio that is a bit questionable ethically.I stand behind it though and never heard any complaints.If you can't hear what I'm talking about, don't bother asking me...I'll never cop to it.
