PS1 Beats is another project where I continued to use my original style of Boom Bap with sample flips. I'm starting to get pretty confident with my track selection as I think this might be my most consistent beat tape yet. 

I try to be as friendly and humble as possible, but at what point do I start admitting that my silly video game beat tapes are better than most of the top selling beat tapes on bandcamp or the most played on YouTube? Regardless, I'll still keep pumping tapes out =)

Originally, I was planning on doing this as a full album. I ended up having 12 tracks but after listening I think these 5 were the better ones. I'm trying to trim the fat in a lot of my projects here on out. Especially since all of my past successes have been short projects for whatever reason. (Game Over and my Pokemon EP are easily my most played music).

This is not a lofi and chill beat type beat tape. These are just beats that I made with the only purpose of sounding cool to myself. Maybe others will enjoy it too. If not, oh well.
This is the third installment of my Nostalgic Beats series. The first two were actually titled "Nostalgic Nintendo Beats" but dropping Nintendo made me able to make whatever I wanted and not be restricted.

I was in a big funk creatively for months prior to making this. I actually was debating quitting releasing music. Making beats in my spare time just gets weirder as I get older in the working world. But for whatever reason I find myself always coming back to it.
I basically just tried to get every track to have a happyish sad type feel, which totally makes sense, and then added something that was nostalgic to myself.

I was in a block for a while trying to figure out a project I wanted to do. I was getting frustrated seeing these youtube mixes using my beats have 500k plus views but on my channel I can only get a few hundred so this is kind of my attempt to beat them to the punch....which is ridiculous to even say because it's all my material haha. But whatever. Basically knocked all these out in a week just sampling nintendo songs I liked. Fun to make, and makes for a good mix. Hopefully you like it
