Dub Minded is the name of the new riddim selection by GuerillJah Productions. It features international artists like the roots veteran Joseph Grant (Still Cool) from Jamaica, Rosa Shanti, Tonto Addi and Jahjah Man from France, George Palmer from Spain, the german-serbian Singer Aca Pachuli and Longfingah, who is next to Hardy Digital also one of the producers of this One Riddim Sampler. Release Date is December 17th 2014

Some of the most outstanding contributions on Mungo’s Hi Fi multi-artist projects have come from Ipswich lyricist YT. So it was only a matter of time before they collaborated on a full album together. 
The theme is real, undiluted reggae music. YT and Mungo's share a passion for the often overlooked 80's rub-a-dub and early dancehall sound. The stripped down riddim tracks allow YT's strong, melodic delivery and intelligent lyrics to take centre stage. 
YT doesn’t flinch from life’s harsh realities and tough questions. Yet he is also sufficiently well-grounded to breathe new fire into staple topics like sound clash and ghetto romance. 
He spars with two of the greatest dancehall singers, in Johnny Osbourne and Little John, over music laid with the help of Prince Fatty to add that analogue rub-a-dub flavour. The result is an album that salutes the foundation and its continued relevance in modern dances today.

After three deadly discs in our Maffi series Solo Banton is back with a vengeance and a full EP, flinging big tunes, the mic and nunchuks alike with the ease of a Shaolin master that would even have made Mr. Miyagi proud.

Starting the ride, “Music Addict” is setting fire to dancefloors with an almost pyromaniac delight while still nicing up the area big time. Solo continues to spin a yarn about your friendly neighbourhood robbers in “Put It Back”, his belt buckle slashing out just as hard as the beats. Witness an epic martial arts battle in “Kung Fu Master”, when ‘Black Belt’ Banton enters the dojo, riding the knucklebuster basslines crane style and shows Jet Li how it should be done. Keeping up the fighting spirit and finishing the trip is “One Of The Greatest”, written during and about the people’s struggle for freedom in the ‘Arab spring‘ earlier this year.

All tracks have been produced by disrupt, who fills in the gaps with “Arcade Addict” and “Last Blade” to guarantee an extra-smooth overall flow of the matter.

To celebrate the 10TH 12inch on Jahtari, Ellen from MyLordSound designed an extra-breathtaking cover in the tradition of the classic Scientist series.
