DJ Blackheart started out as a bedroom DJ, spinning tunes for the love of the music before he decided to get his act right and joined Excessive Records in December 2006 under the guidance of the inimitable Bryan Burger.

He plays a stylistic range from house to techno, with techno as his main genre. Sound engineer and sound designer by day, and DJ by the love of the experience and music, he believes that every set is like a story and would love to share the journey of the senses with the crowd. That journey also brought him to the final of the Pioneer Digital DJ Battle 2010 , Awarded Best Trance DJ in 2011 , 1st Runner up For Malaysia DJ Battle And recently 2nd Runner up for the Pioneer Digital Battle 2012 .

Treating the decks like a canvas with his palette of musical tricks, DJ Blackheart preaches a hard sound but laces it with classic house undertones. The energetic style and personality in a blackhearted set is infused with passion and moody connotations. He can drive a crowd like no other, and one thing is certain: when you hear DJ Blackheart, all you wanna do is DANCE.
