Having already released on Mari.te’s Tresydos imprint and For Playful Manners, French born, Lisbon based artist Penelope is another darling of the selector house scene. Regularly carting her trusty record bag around the world’s airports, she also has a solid foundation in her adopted Portuguese home. When behind the decks, she can often be seen with a glint in her eye and playful smirk on her face as she knows the reaction her insane bombs will have when they drop.

Her cosmic, often dreamy, sometimes pitch black musical direction is fantastically tempered with outrageously diverse moods and basslines to die for. Penelope’s mix for our podcast series is a trip through electro dreams that stops off in all manner of locations along the way. Heavy undulating basslines, arping synths and body rocking drums signal the arrival of yet another finely weighted addition to the InSession lineage. There is no better way to kcik off your weekend.

Merging new wave and disco elements into her DJ style rooted in house music, MAYURASHKA began releasing tracks with Osare Editions in 2021. She specializes in techno, indie, and disco with an emphasis on house, and has shared her mixes on platforms like NTS Radio, Berlin Community Radio, SKY LAB RADIO, BORN FREE in Stockholm, and ANIMALS DANCING in Melbourne.

She started producing music in 2020 and contributed two tracks, "U" and "MIYABI NOBORU," to the "Donne Che Corrono Coi Lupi" compilation from Amsterdam-based label Osàre! in 2021. In 2022, she launched her first solo EP, "water skipps," via Ladybug and took part in a song on the compilation album "Ordinary Dreams - Vol 2" by Planet Trip, set to release in April.

In April 2023, she collaborated on a track for the compilation cassette "The Male Body Will Be Next part2" under the "osare editions" label.

Label head and co-founder of the acclaimed label ‘The Tribe Tales’, Doris is melting styles together in a distinguished trippy, spell-binding way, in which he makes the listener experience a broad spectrum of styles from different eras and sentiments around the world.
This mix is dedicated to Opa Kees, Dodo's grandpa with whom we have been raving and who is celebrating his birthday. Big up Kees!

Eversines is a producer and DJ residing in Amsterdam. He’s been producing for over a decade, co-runs record label De Lichting and focuses on the energetic yet dreamy side of electronic music.

In 2019 his debut album was put out through Wex Records, after which releases on yeyeh / ninih came forth including a solo outing and a special collaboration with thereminist Carolina Eyck titled ‘Waves’.

De Lichting being a close group of friends and Eversines’ homebase, he’s always a part of the well received double vinyl compilations they put out, and had his debut on Kalahari Oyster Cult in 2020 with ‘Plooi’. He recently released on labels like Animals On Psychedelics, Nous’Klaer and Lonely Planet Records, with more releases in the pipeline for well-respected labels.
