So the end of the world is nigh,
and there's nothing to stop you leaving,
and if you wanted to question why,
you should've done more than stare at the ceiling,

in your life,
you have cried,
it won't happen in my time,

in your time
it's alright,
we committed the same crime

and its too late to build that ark,
as the sun leaves you in the darkness,
and the children with broken hearts,
are left with nothing that they can harvest

and the oil that sits on the sea,
is the legacy that your leaving,
and if you wanted to question me,
you should've done more than stare at the ceiling,

in your life,
you have cried,
it won't happen in my time,

in your time
it's alright,
we committed the same crime

And the money that you have made,
is just as worthless as how you made it,
and as the sunlight begins to fade, 
well, there isn't a way you can save it,

So make you way to the one you love,
and say your sorry for killing the planet,
and then pray to the world above,
It's a world that you can no longer inhabit,

you've been bad,
and that's sad,
as you seemed such a bright boy,

just like your dad,
and his too,
but there's no telling any of you















The End of The World

Summers undone,
No place in the sun,
Will liven my down trodden soul.

The youths are alive,
With spirited highs,
They don't see the end of it all.

Ignorance is blissfull and a dumbminded fistfull of tiny town
Outreverts approach me like a broken church-goers and leavers are somewhat beneath us, we are misery, with artistic delivery, are we bohemians? Are we bohemians?

With our eyes off the ball,
Somebody pinches our gruel.

Competition is great,
It's a United state,
Run by fascists, were tired of it all.

We'll drink on Monday,
Our own second Sunday,
With money that we never earn,

Laugh at the banker,
Whilst using his anchor,
To pull us, will we ever learn?

We're artists and writers,
Cerebral fighters, lovers and
losers, no one would choose us
for sporting pursuits, we'd be no fucking use, we are misery, we are misery, with old fashioned chivalry, we open the door to your heart, without us you'd never depart, 
are we bohemians?

As we approach forty,
Some give up the naughty,
Life becomes standard and grey,

A percentage survive,
Though the romance has died,
The passion is never delayed,

These are the bohemians,

How do I sway you?
Our physicality the same,
our schooling and the love we know,
are not a million miles away,
from each other,
we learn nothing,
could we not just share the pain?
the sympathy or the notion,
that "they" are not to blame,
for wanting,
what we have,
us and them the same,
just a colour and a language,
sit outside the frame.
Oh how will I sway you?
How do I change your views,
misinformed, misguided,
by the tabloid news,
and you can label me a lefty,
for that is what you do,
pigeon hole and segregate,
based upon a view,
for me,
it's plane and simple,
if you had a with heart,
you would save the life of anyone,
not just your counterpart.
