Soma’s Collective Process VA’s reaches Vol. 6 and once again delivers on heavy, rising Techno talent. The monster 6 track release, courtesy of Rudosa, Dave Wincent, X-Tension, Truant.J, Hemissi & Unperson has a diverse mix of styles and has each artist at the top of their game.

UK based, man of many talents, Rudosa, opens the EP with Consumed. A no-nonsense dance floor terror designed for that warehouse, peak time moment. Dave Wincent returns to Soma once again with his deep and trippy sound on Radar II. Another familiar face drops in as German hard techno maestro, X-Tension, drops the rave infected, industrial weapon Schwarmblut. Truant.J makes his Soma debut with the dark and atmospheric Shape of The Morning. Hitting the deeper side of things, Hemmisi once again shines with the minimalistic Sextuple. Closing out the latest Collective Process is the shadowy Unperson with the mysterious figure cutting a fast paced yet emotive piece on Marchand Du Sel.

The recordings have been given away for Sinee users for free and producer harm_onie did an outstanding re-work in the form of a deep broken beat interpretation.

“Ad Astra” sets the scene with its suspenseful build up and acid bassline;  distorted kick, drum rolls, and pitched vox are led by a flangery rave synth.

“Per Aspera” elevates the experience, lacing industrial percussion and a reese bass  with acid synths, rave leads and psychedelic fx into an uplifting build up.

UK-based @dave-the-drummer delivers an addictive remix to “Per Aspera” in the old-school rave vibe with punk attitude, a bassline-driven number with distorted kick, 909 hats and an ominous breakdown.

Launched in January 2022, DSC (Deepak Sharma Collection) is a new digital series where Deepak will be releasing an individual track each month.

The project materialized from the pandemic as an outlet to keep busy and sane from the isolation. From fresh material to digging into the vault and editing older sketches, everyone was fair game.

The result is a collection of varied works where the sound is consistent with what Deepak is known for: stripped down, rolling, and hypnotic atmospheres ideal for dark dance floors which he missed both as a DJ and as a dancer.
