Long-time Chicago native and house champion Chicago Skyway is the latest welcomed artist for the Chubby! Podcast.

Sean Hernandez has been producing for the past near 15 years releasing EP's on some of the best underground labels around.
 He has multiple releases on the iconic label M>O>S Recordings, the highly-regarded Uzuri, Emphasis and Eargasmic labels among others.. But these fruitful years were first supported by being a fan of the music for another 15 years prior to writing his own. A solid foundation of learning the history of the genre while being an avid collector and DJ is in our eyes, the best way to come up. Learn what has been done so you have something to say. And to find the inspiration to express your own point of view. Sean has earned his stripes like that. Naturally, being a fan of house and techno will take root and express themselves through the personality of the producer. Chicago Skyway is that outlet's name. Originating from the Dominican Republic, Giancarlo has built a reputation on effortlessly navigating between boogie and disco grooves and crafting deep, hypnotic house & techno sets. While he’s no stranger to the heavy hitters on a packed out dance floor we will have the pleasure of hearing the softer side of his record collection: an episode crammed full of soothing sounds, with the very best of his Bsides bringing a laidback but energising tone to your day.

For this episode we have the super talented Paris based artist, Alexis aka Aleqs Notal with his deeper selections.

Since a young age, Aleqs Notal has been a true vinyl enthusiast & coming from the Hip-Hop scene, he would go on to become a prolific mixer; notably becoming the Red Bull 3Style World Turntablist champion as "Dj Karve" back in 2010.
 The other side of Alexis career shifts gears into his brand of Deep House & Techno with atmosphere. His style can traverse through the vibes of Disco, Latin Jazz and Space or moods of pure Soul with the excellent use of percussion to control the groove flows. 
 
Since 2014, Alexis has released Gem EPs on C.C.B Recordings, Phonogramme, Visions, Finale Sessions, Sistrum & RDV; In addition to various appearances on the Paris Music Club compilations, he is also the first French DJ to play in Fela Kuti's Shrine. 
Alexis's self established Imprint "Industrial Light" features more of his exclusive Deep House delights. Its certainly worthy to explore...

 Alexis has shared stage with pioneers like Jazzy Jeff, Larry Heard, Patrice Scott, Mike Huckaby, Moodymann & so on…. He would also go on to command venues as a well known resident DJ at La Machine du Moulin Rouge & the Rex Club; in addition to making crowds dance with frequent shows at famous clubs like Concrete, 6B, Rinse France, Panorama Bar, Tresor, Fabric London and so many more have had the pleasure of Aleqs Notal in control of the floor.

 Expect plenty of tasteful selections, deep vibes and classic housey moods on this autumn cruise, all aboard Vol.87 with Aleqs Notals behind the ones and twos.
