I was honored to share the lineup with visionary artists and thinkers including Reggie Watts, LP Giobbi, David Satori, Bloomurian, Duncan Trussell, and Zach Leary — all gathered to mark 82 years since Albert Hofmann’s legendary bicycle ride and the birth of LSD.

This is my offering: a hypnotic dancefloor journey through tribal rhythms, organic melodies, disco beats, and 303 acid basslines — a psychedelic set to make your booties move and your spirit groove.

As a former war correspondent turned sound alchemist, music and plant teachers have been my medicine — helping me transmute trauma and reconnect with joy.

This set is a celebration… a thank you… and a portal to something deeper.

UnSCruz — Santa Cruz's Burning Man Regional Campout — is my favorite event of the year, where my burner fam from the Bay Area and my hometown merge and dance, sing, and be silly for a whole weekend. This set has been in development for a long time. Originally arranged for 2024 campout season, it was shelved for nearly a year. More tracks were acquired and integrated in 2025, abd a bunch that were originally in didn't make the final cut. I've been taking some time off from DJing while learning to play guitar and pursue other creative outlets, but I felt the inspiration to dust off the decks and finally get this set finished. Writer by day, DJ by night. I'm Eddie Rios aka Black Panda. An Oakland-based DJ and producer with a deep appreciation for all things house, especially afro, deep, melodic, progressive, and classic. Co-lead of the BIPOC Beats Collective, a group of BIPOC Burners who want to diversify musical spaces on and off playa. I've also joined DJ/producer Justin Jay's production bootcamp for 2023-2024. 

Music builds an emotional connection and creates a connective tissue between mind, body, and soul. I'm hoping to make every moment memorable.
