Subreal is pleased to announce its sixth release, War Bride (SR006) from label co-founder Amazondotcom. 


Amazondotcom returns from a hiatus with a new 5-track EP, full of sonic and emotional dimensionality. In this work, she continues her ongoing investigations into twisting rhythms, deep sub-bass, heavy percussion, and the intertwining of organic and synthetic sound design. 


According to the producer, she worked with longer, but often simpler, loops to fill repetitive time with variation, which was reflective of her own personal time during production. She began these tracks with the “simple idea that small feelings and perceptions can scatter and morph across time, taking on their own narratives and life forces. This can happen melodically, rhythmically, in dance, and in personal and/or political experiences.” 


Amazondotcom is a music producer based in Los Angeles and one of the founders of electronic music label Subreal. Her first solo EP, Mirror River, was released in 2019.

🇬🇧 DJ Latinchat announces debut EP for french label Le Ciel Records

After a series of mysterious ambient dembow releases on Bandcamp and Soundcloud, Peruvian producer DJ Latinchat joins the roster of Le Ciel Records for its label debut. The EP features three original tracks that explore different characteristics of Latin American dance music, fusing it with elements of ambient, techno and dub.
The EP also features Ecuadorian producer Entrañas, who has been making waves in the last two years and now debuts for Le Ciel Records with a remix of the title track, and label boss Sevenbeatz, who puts a dancehall spin to the second track 'Budian'.

The EP will be available on all digital platforms from 9 June.

🇪🇸 DJ Latinchat anuncia su primer EP vía el sello Le Ciel Records

Luego de una serie de misteriosos lanzamientos vía Bandcamp y Soundcloud, el productor peruano DJ Latinchat se une a Le Ciel Records para su EP debut, ‘Candela’. El disco incluye tres canciones originales que exploran distintas características de la música de baile Latinoaméricana, fusionándola con elementos del ambient, techno y dub.
En el EP participan también el productor ecuatoriano Entrañas, que ha estado dando mucho que hablar en los últimos dos años y ahora debuta en Le Ciel Records con un remix del track que da título al EP, y el jefe del sello Sevenbeatz, quien reversiona en clave dancehall ‘Budian’, la segunda canción del disco.

El EP estará disponible en todas las plataformas digitales a partir del 9 de junio.

Horror Vacui, from Latin 'fear of empty space' 

This non-narrative film explores geological self-similar formations of Earth and the frenetic Hyper-development attained by humankind, culminating into a sense of claustrophobic anxiety conferred by the present condition. 

It reflects upon the alienation from nature as well as the act of perceiving, and the biased interpretation of the notion of 'reality'; 
By mixing CGI techniques and real footage the video blurs the distinction between reality and a digital recreation of it; 
thus making the viewers question themselves constantly whether what they are seeing is real or not.
