Spoken words from three tragic events.

1) The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in New York City on March 25, 1911 was the deadliest industrial disaster in the history of the city, and one of the deadliest in U.S. history. The fire caused the deaths of 146 garment workers – 123 women and 23 men – who died from the fire, smoke inhalation, or falling or jumping to their deaths.
2) On December 2, 2016, at approximately 11:20 p.m. PST, a fire broke out in a warehouse, known as Ghost Ship, that had been converted into an artist collective, including dwelling units. At the time of the fire, the warehouse was hosting a concert featuring artists from the house music record label 100% Silk. A total of 36 people were killed in the fire, the deadliest in the history of Oakland. It was also the deadliest building fire in the United States since The Station nightclub fire in 2003.
3) On the night of December 2, 1984, a leak at the Union Carbide pesticide plant in Bhopal India caused toxic chemicals to vaporize and spread to the towns surrounding the chemical plant. The gas that escaped resulted in the deaths of 15,000 people and affected more than 550,000 people.
