Dr. Roberts speaks to us on the topics of the importance of purpose and operating life with mental and emotional health and happiness. Dr. Erica Roberts, EdD is CEO & Lead Consultant of Purposed Life, LLC whose mission is to provide mental, emotional and social health solutions for both individuals and organizations. Dr. Roberts is a skilled professional within the non-profit and social service industries. For the last 11+ years her career has been devoted to sustaining high-performing programs throughout Tennessee, whose mission focused on education, re-entry, and employment support.

During the podcast, Dr. Roberts discusses how her journey to the doctorate led to her work in various industries, but as she continued to navigate her career, she knew the doctorate was a part of the journey. Although it did not end where it started, she still has managed to be a communicator with a passion to serve her community. Currently, she leverages her diverse experiences by working in multiple states and in the cross-sections of health/wellness, social impact, education and technology industries. Past and current projects include developing new SNAP E&T programs, federal Ed Tech initiatives, & with her husband and co-owner creating and participating in local and statewide mental health events and programs.

Dr. Roberts is a native Tennessean. She earned a Doctor of Educational in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University; Master of Business Administration from Bethel University, College of Professional Studies; and Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Memphis. She continues to live in Tennessee with her family.
