This is the first track from our charity album, Subliminal Verse: A Tribute to Joey Jordison. Joey was a founding member and drummer for the metal band Slipknot for many years until he began a private struggle with transverse myelitis. He eventually overcame transverse myelitis and continued to make music, while inspiring a new generation of musicians until his passing on July 26, 2021. With this album, we hope to pay tribute to Joey and to the legacy that he created.

So here's my next cover! To be fair, I think I chose quite an obscure track from this soundtrack but this kinda shows how many FFVIII songs i'm willing to do! So this is part 1 and 2 of 'Slide Show'. The themes for that bit when Laguna is all like "I'll slay the dragon!" to a real Ruby Dragon thinking it's Kiros and Ward disguised as a fake dragon but it's actually a real dragon and Laguna is all like "What."

I think I struggled to try keeping this one going tbh but my next covers should be a bit more straight-forward. I'm still proud of this however! Obviously ripped off a little Arctic Monkeys at one point lol but overall I'm happy. I'm also having problems with my computer and blaah blah blah. So if I suddenly don't make content for a while, it's cus my computer decided to committ suicide on my arse! :/

Oh yeah and that sample at the beginning. To be perfectly honest, I have no idea why it's there. I tried to find that sound that cameras made in the silent era of film. But instead I somehow got to a video of some bloke filming old people with an old camera. And I thought it was funny lol
