Two more slamming remixes are coming your way from the Toast and Jam Remixed series. Shade K gets the party started with some acoustic guitars melting into the familiar theme, giving way at the drop to a bouncing bass line ready to rattle the bass bins right apart. The Chris Voro remix employs a healthy dose of the original theme with a stabbing syncopated synth bass driving the beat underneath. Add to that some well placed vocal samples and a massive kick/snare combo and you've got yourself one tasty jam!

"Arasaka" is a psybreaks track, focusing on the atmosphere, the drive, without losing the melodic side of the genre.
My soundtrack of a huge tech, corrupted giant, which Johnny Silverhand made his life goal to take down.

"Mikoshi" is also mainly psybreaks and despite being more melodic, it's darker. The drums are more classical breaks oriented and it sounds more ominous.
This is what I thought could be in the background, when V used the Soulkiller to remove the Relic.

"Kusanagi", is mostly progressive. Featuring the beautiful vocals of Greek singer, Elena Tzavella, it doesn't compromise on the psy elements, but the main thing here is the musical journey.
It's a theme of the adventure's outro, when V, puts his legendary sword, representing virtue and honour, in it's case and drives off to the rest of his life."

Having spent so much time in the breaks world, and with free rein to marry that to my fascination with dark and melancholic, filmic soundscapes and twisted heavy basslines, my labour of love is out of my hands and into the chaos of reality, courtesy of Beatman and Ludmilla's brilliant Ayra Recordings.

Working with great artists like Sonic Element (on the title track) and Remeya Kingston (the vocalist behind 'What It Is To Fall'), has been another immense privilege.

Beatman & Ludmilla - Breakout Breeze - Winter Edition 2022

The sixth TEK release arrives to deliver unrest to the dancefloors with three big names. CHRIS VORO, a man who needs no introduction in the psybreaks scene, lands his debut on TEK records, with the track ALTER EGO. His signature style, infused with old school melancholy, slowly sucks the listener into the title track. Distorted synths, closely accompanied by delayed percussions, pave the way for a hard and thumping beat. Bass frequencies will tear and rend as the beat progresses into a beautiful trance breakdown. Once the drop hits, your memory is fully wiped. Before you can even remember what you were doing, TOO DUSTY arrives to fully lobotomize with his remix. Inhumane syncopated basses that rip matter into void. Clockwork precise FX's and a subtle dark melody drive the track into a small breakdown that advances into a violent beat which shoots lasers straight into the pineal gland. The big breakdown constructs a cathedral reverb, leaving you between dimensions. Finally, essences are transfigured with the drop that crunches away with extreme force, yet extreme precision. ACIDOVA makes his entrance with trip inducing funk, finely woven with buzzing lush synths, and hard hitting yet splashing drums. A groove ridden bassline that defines his style moves in, that will guide the listener to a maddened state through a crazy unpredictable drop. Forget the third eye, here's the fourth, as an unheard of progression ensues, carrying sounds that are literally creasing the aural space. Consistently pushing the boundaries with every release to date, TEK offers you the most explosive one yet. This release will awaken the dancing alter ego of everyone who touches it, even if they didn't knew they had one!

The first remix comes from the world class psy-trancer, Magnus. Famous for his unique, driving psy-trance style, supported by every big trance DJ including Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Simon Patterson and more, Magnus delivers a beast of a remix.
