Two more slamming remixes are coming your way from the Toast and Jam Remixed series. Shade K gets the party started with some acoustic guitars melting into the familiar theme, giving way at the drop to a bouncing bass line ready to rattle the bass bins right apart. The Chris Voro remix employs a healthy dose of the original theme with a stabbing syncopated synth bass driving the beat underneath. Add to that some well placed vocal samples and a massive kick/snare combo and you've got yourself one tasty jam!

"Arasaka" is a psybreaks track, focusing on the atmosphere, the drive, without losing the melodic side of the genre.
My soundtrack of a huge tech, corrupted giant, which Johnny Silverhand made his life goal to take down.

"Mikoshi" is also mainly psybreaks and despite being more melodic, it's darker. The drums are more classical breaks oriented and it sounds more ominous.
This is what I thought could be in the background, when V used the Soulkiller to remove the Relic.

"Kusanagi", is mostly progressive. Featuring the beautiful vocals of Greek singer, Elena Tzavella, it doesn't compromise on the psy elements, but the main thing here is the musical journey.
It's a theme of the adventure's outro, when V, puts his legendary sword, representing virtue and honour, in it's case and drives off to the rest of his life."

Nearly three years in the making and with all of the careful attention of which I'm capable, I'm delighted to bring you 'The Losing Struggle,' my second solo artist album.

Having spent so much time in the breaks world, and with free rein to marry that to my fascination with dark and melancholic, filmic soundscapes and twisted heavy basslines, my labour of love is out of my hands and into the chaos of reality, courtesy of Beatman and Ludmilla's brilliant Ayra Recordings.

Working with great artists like Sonic Element (on the title track) and Remeya Kingston (the vocalist behind 'What It Is To Fall'), has been another immense privilege.

After some time and his ridiculously successful debut release, TiRax, returns to Blacked Out Recordings with a new EP. A thrilling work of art, titled District 21.
District 21 is a psybreaks tune, inspired by the dystopic world of the cyberpunk literature that we all in Blacked Out Recordings, love so much. Brilliant atmosphere with an amazing cinematic breakdown that will take your mind to a full of neon lights, district in Tokyo.
Modern Highway is up next. A track in the familiar TiRax style. 4/4 synthwave beat with psychedelic elements and the squelchy character that defines TiRax's sound. Don't miss checking out the climax after the breakdown. So immensely Blade-Runner-ish.
Last, but not least, fellow Frenchman N'GwA, remixes District 21 in his own psy-tech funk style that made his name on labels like V.I.M. Records etc. Fantastic groovy intro, with leads inspired from the 8-bit golden era in the 80's. And then, after a cinematic transition, here comes the main part of this beast. So much attention to the detail. AWESOME!
