This is the mix I made for the cast of LIFE SUCKS, a production of an Aaron Posner play that ran from Oct 12 - Nov 12, 2023 at Open Eye Theater.

There's a bit of an intro for my cast/crew, which SORTA' applies to just them, but also to YOU, the listener. 

Like all cast/crew mixes I make, each song has a little something to do with the overall story, the characters, the tone or some aspect that might go deeper. I also try to avoid "obvious" songs that you can hear anywhere.

Hopefully, you don't have to have seen the show to enjoy it.

A) Hank PymC mixes - looping experiments for possible future use by groups such as Queasy Yakuza or hip-hop outfits like Skrull Kill Krew.

B) Blackened Whitefish mixtape - originally this was just a safehouse for stupid songs I'd discovered & shared with people through a social network that no longer exists.

C) Philistine Drone - the inaugural volley from EI, which is a spoken word experiment, where lives are turned inside-out in a decaying, post-modern world. An attempt is also to test the boundaries of the English language. And when all is said and done, the mind will race around the sun.
