After delivering one of the standout EPs of the newly revived Blackflag Recordings with 2012's 'Clicks N Stuff' EP, Spanish percussive master Sergio Fernandez returns with a killer two track offering set to ignite dancefloors this summer. With both tracks road tested by label head Stacey Pullen, Sergio's offering is a fail-safe pair of peak-time bombs further reinforcing his deft hand at crafting drum-laden cuts designed to ensure maximum hiplashing impact. The title track 'Into The Deep' is the more tempered of the two and was utilised to excellent effect during Pullen's recent warm up in the Main Room at Music On, with the tribal-inspired percussion that worked its way towards a satisfying groove-orientated stomp going down a treat with the satisfied crowd. With deep spiralling synth stabs that peter out before building towards an extended break that switches the intensity dial into the red 'Primate Instinct', pays due respect to its name and is the kind of undiluted club weapon that will leave those on the dancefloor unsure of whether to raise their fists skywards or scratch their faces off with pleasure, such is the pure adrenalin-packed rush received on impact. If dancing sits alongside sex as human's most basic instinct, then this will inspire you to get primal.
