Lazarus centers around a man (Sean Riggs) who is killed, but his death is a brief affair. Upon regaining consciousness, he discovers he has been gifted with extraordinary powers that allow him to super-heroically fight the organization responsible for plunging his city into darkness. 

Lazarus is written and directed by R.L. Scott. The film was produced by R.L. Scott, and Justin “Jtrx” Echols; and executive produced by Sean Riggs, Eddie Riggs, and Edward Davie.

Lazarus is currently streaming on Tubi.

From 1983 to 2002, Fauci was one of the world's most frequently-cited scientists across all scientific journals. In 2008, President George W. Bush awarded Fauci the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States, for his work on the AIDS relief program.

Nia plays Tierra, Douda's (played by Curtiss Cook) poised, polished and driven god-niece who he recruits for a rebranding effort and to help with Trig’s (Luke James) political campaign. Additionally, Nia starred in an additional Lena Waithe production, on BET’s 'Twenties' as a recurring character. 

Segment 2: L’lerrét Jazelle is a classically trained transgender actress born and raised in Baltimore, MD and currently living in Los Angeles, CA. She began her training in 2019 at the Identity School of Acting under the leadership of Anthony Mark Barrow for a little over a year, recalibrated during the onset of the pandemic, and then proceeded to continue her studies in 2021 for six months at the Sanford Meisner Center.
