I began writing music because society puts people front and center when they want to brag and talk about how they're ballin. However when people try to tell us that something is wrong our culture tends to shove them into a corner. It tells them to take some meds and keep quiet. So I began writing raps to give voice to those thoughts and emotions that otherwise would have been silenced. Only by talking about our issues can we truly get over them and move on.
