If you’re among those who’ve been requesting a club-length expansion to the track, well your wait is now at an end! 
If however this is your first contact with Orkidea & Giuseppe’s debut team-up, hey, you’ve got a big treat in store… Together, the two Pure Trance centurions have catalysed a track even greater than the sum of its (considerable!) parts.

Giuseppe and Tapio have been back into the studio and built ‘North Star’ upwards and outwards, transforming it into a full-length floor-conquistador! 

Twisting their inimitable production codas together, Giuseppe stylistic elevation meets Orkidea’s rolling basslines head-on, and with storm force! Heavenly chiming sub-lines, kick-drum-thump, metronomic percussion and meteoric synths mass to create a power band is as peak-time-broad as it is skyscapingly high. Factor B has gotten in on the action too, bringing the release his dazzling Southern Star revision. The Melbourne-based producer (whose studio work has of-late graced the label-likes of Pure Trance Recordings and Future Sound of Egypt) drops an every-bit-as rapture-inducing remix.

Pulsar Recordings is excited to reveal to you another vocal trance gem which was a long time in the making. This one was a truly international collaboration done with J2P, our new signee from Germany, vocals were provided by Angel Falls from Poland and an absolutely remarkable remix job was done by the upcoming Mexican trance talent Ar-2.

The song is called Where I Belong and can be described as an emotional tune that sings about the lost meaning and the journey of finding oneself. It comes in a variety of flavors, where things start off with Ar-2's remix which is the pinnacle take of the whole release. Featuring bold sound and an ever emotional breakdown coupled with the captivating vocals, it stands as a reminder of how great uplifting trance can sound when you get all the elements aligned in the right way. 

Next take is J2P's orchestral mix which is the original piece that sparked everything and served as a starting point in this whole creative process. It carries that distinct emotional tone you heard in the remix, the only difference is that it has no vocals and no big beats and synths, it is pure as it can get. Other takes include the dub mix of the Ar-2's remix and surprisingly even the extended version of the main mix which is almost 10 minutes long, something that hard core lovers of this release will appreciate the most.
