Renowned for his ability to bring creativity and flair to his wild remixes, edits and re-edits, Riva Starr is a hugely welcome new addition into the Saved fold. Bringing a special collection of new edits, the producer displays the kind of dexterity that has made him so impossible to pigeonhole over the last decade. First up, Riva delivers a driving and energetic mashup of Roland Clark’s “Your First Time” and Paul C & Paolo Martini’s “Take Some Time.” Frenetic percussion in the top end and futuristic FXs create a party-focused pace as the dubby atmospheres and pumping beats add the power and momentum. The ghetto-funk vocal adds another dimension to make this Riva’s own personal homage to the history of house music. The raw edit of “Chasing Autumns” by Taras Van De Voorde continues that exploration further, tapping into a unique mix of classic sounding house with rich piano chords and emotive strings; and a modern, raw sounding warehouse energy that burns and stomps away underneath. Taking things into a much deeper hue, Riva with his colourful edit of Luca Morris’ “Play By Play.” Built around subtly shifting melodies, a deep, rolling bassline and tumbling drums, the track shuffles forward with bags of personality and charisma. Intoxicating and heady, this one will keep heads down whilst infiltrating the feet. Riva’s edit of Rino Cerrone & Fabio Diaz’s “Extraordinary Wiring” is a dizzying, head-spinning workout that swirls and shakes with an unsteadying disposition. Funky drums interplay with highly distorted synths and mechanical sounding basslines to create a sound that is at once playful, addictive and unstoppable.

We are proud to welcome back again our friends and amazing duo Audio Junkies. For this new single, the talented Tel Aviv duo have joined forces with one of the most interesting singer of the latest years in the electronic scene, Mrs Cari Golden and the result couldn't be better. "Right Love" is a great song that mix the fantastic musical word of Audio Junkies with the unique sounds and melody of Cari's vocals. A song to good to dance but even to listen. To complete the release, Label owners Supernova have put their touch on the track, bringing it inside a dark and solid club room. This is one to not be missed!

Its a bold and brave producer who takes on the task of remixing a stone-cold classic cut from the annuals of House history, but thats just what Joris Voorn, KiNK, Phil Weeks and Ambivalent have done with their fresh versions of DJ Dozia’s Ovum debut ’Pop Culture’. 

Originally released back in 1998 ‘Pop Culture’ rapidly gained cult status on the underground. Created by fellow Philly resident Dozia Blakey, the raw and sparse original, at over ten minutes, was made for the dark, strobe-lit, sweat-on-walls rooms where it found favour. Backed by the equally popular Size-9 remix, ‘Pop Culture’ was, and still is, a record that never leaves the box for many. Now, with a fresh set of remixes, its set for a glorious return. The original twelve inch is still one of the most sought after twelve inches on discogs. 

So what did persuade our set of remixers to take on this challenge? Well, lets ask them…
KiNK - "I heard Pop Culture by DJ Dozia for first time on the Profound Sounds Vol.1 mix by Josh Wink and since then it’s one of my all time favourite tracks! It’s an honour to remix it, but it was a very difficult task, the track is just perfect as it is. That’s why my version is very close to the original, with a little KiNK in it.”

Solid Grooves serve up a five-track Ibiza sampler to tie in with their summer of events at Vista Club in Ibiza. In light of this the founders have curated five tracks from some of their core roster that’s illustrative of the Solid Grooves musical aesthetic including PAWSA and Michael Bibi alongside label favourites ONNO, Reelow and Dennis Cruz.

First up our Debut Transmission today, Dennis Cruz ‘Fever’ is a rumbling track boasting echoing percussion and a heady spoken word sample. Michael Bibi then drops a moody number teeming with syncopated rhythms and chopped vocals before ONNO unleashes a cavernous cut named ‘Body Shake’ that’s geared for the peaktime. Next, PAWSA ‘Luster’ is a bass fuelled roller that takes no prisoners until Reelow concludes the package with the intricate ‘Shaolin Slap’.

Formed of two originals and remixes from Gianni Firmaio and Massi ISX,Rulers this powerful EP adds that extra spice to your sets.

Opening with "So Many Friends", this percussive weapon teleports you into the middle of a high-energy summer festival. Warm bass grooves, layers upon layers of percussion, synths, and a funky vocal line make this track a hidden gem for any peak-time set. 

The fiesta continues in Tomy's second original, "Roll & Roll". As the title suggests, this track is an energetic tech-house roller. Tastefully crafted basslines form the bedrock, with tense breakdowns building the suspense, that are proceeded by the well anticipated big drops. This track is crafted to be a main stage slammer. 

Taking a more minimalist approach whilst still maintaining the energetic foundation of the original is the remix by Massi ISX,Rulers who offer their rendition of the original, geared towards big-stages and warehouse raves. Synths laden with effects, highly mysterious breakdowns, and a booming bass-heavy drop make this track a must-have for your hands-up-in-the-air moments. Closing the EP is the remix by Gianni Firmiao. Adding emphasis to the underlying bass riff, while accenting key percussive elements, Gianni transforms this peak-time groover into a after-hours bomb.
