It’s been almost a year since Izo FitzRoy burst on to the scene with her debut single and ever since, this charismatic soul songstress has built an ever-growing fan base off the back of tireless touring and a series of strong singles from her debut album ‘Skyline’. Her winning combination of raw and powerful vocals and direct and honest lyricism has seen her gain support from the likes of Blues & Soul, Uncut, Eton Messy  and Echoes to name a few.

Written during her time living in New Orleans the title track from the album has become her live calling-card and this single package really packs a punch with not only the original version but three heavyweight remixes to accompany it. 

‘Skyline’ is an emotive and empowering gospel-tinged ballad that sees Izo deliver a message of how staying hopeful and focused on the future when going through troubles can help you overcome anything. The delicate and subtle instrumentation is perfectly contrasted with her soulful vocal lines and uplifting lyrics.

Several years after his successful debut album „Keep It Raw,“ Dusty hits home with this ecelectic 4 track EP which represents a foretaste of his second album „Mood Matters“. The Jazz&Milk label founder consistantly straddles the line between tradition and modernity and proves that an album need not simply commit itself to a genre or two; and in the process ups the ante considerably by featuring a broad spectrum of musical styles, bringing together Dusty’s favourite leanings such as Jazz, Funk, Soul, Afrobeat, Latin, percussive Beats and Deep House rhythms, while seeking a natural balance between accoustic, electronic and traditional sounds through the prism of a club-music oriented approach. 

This fusion is brilliantly demonstrated on the title track „Mood Matters“ which meshes forward-driven house beats with organic instrumentation – a big Jazz banger for the dancefloor! „Danse Macabre“ features Dusty’s live band project „Bad Jazz Troupe“ taking you on a wild trip between massive horn sections, heavy beats and deep basslines. On the B-side you’ll find the strong Afro-Funk piece „Seventy Three“ with its sweeping horns, charming Afrobeat guitars and mighty drumbeats and let’s not forget the soulful beauty of „Longing Lingers“, featuring the heavenly voice of Carla Vallet ,as well as one of Munich’s most talented producers, Bartellow.

With an extremely rich musical background Mauricio is highly experienced in a wide array of genres, diggin deep in the crates, giving a 360 change and now mixing on vinyl. For over 15 years he has toured throughout Mexico, Djing in some of the most exclusive bars, restaurants and hotels. Mauricio has a completely unique concept when it comes to his DJ style.
