Black Lemmings were born in 2012 from an earlier draft of Cosimo Barberi. The first self-produced EP "Things to Throw Away" starred voice of Alessandra Fusconi. The duo finally stabilises with the arrival of singer Charo Galura after the first EP.
The electronic sounds are inspired by the latest music trend, from "New Pop" to "Dubstep", especially the Swedish and Canadian independent scene. The lyrics are introspective, evocative rather than descriptive. Their work is based on breaking down the stereotypes of the 'winking' dance and commercial music, rebuilding it in an unusual way combining tunes and rhythms nearer to the underground scene.
Selected as one of the best 25 bands at Arezzo Wave Toscana.
