Italian DJ and producer Andrea Grasselli, who also goes under the moniker AtcG, returns to the forefront of Smash The House division House of House with reimagination of Chic’s ‘Le Freak’.

Andrea gives his modern and updated view on Chic’s classic track ‘Le Freak’, successfully keeping the aura and feel of the original while updating where necessary. AtcG shows a real tasteful ear for remixing on this one and does the already incredibly iconic track justice, which is no easy feat. Approaching such a well-known and familiar song can be dangerous territory for most producers, this is not the case with AtcG, who expertly manoeuvre’s the track with extreme care and precision.

AtcG fell in love with music, particularly dance music, at a very early age. At 15, inspired by the likes of Depeche Mode, Queen and Daft Punk, Andrea became obsessed with the scene and everything that came with it. Slowly but surely, the Italian producer would master his craft and create his own winning formula, which has got him to this point. As he continues to perfect his sound and build a fanbase, everything seems to be slotting in to place for Andrea, who has worked with world renowned artists DJ’s like Burak Yeter and influential Italian labels like Time Records.
