A few weeks ago, my good friend Grant asked me if I could lend a hand with a track he was finishing. Stunned by his incredible vocals, it felt like an honor to support him in any way I could. He told me, “One day, I’ll ask you to make your own interpretation of it.”

Yesterday turned out to be one of the most draining days I’ve had in a long while. I was so exhausted that when I finally opened FL Studio to try and channel all the negative energy, nothing came out — just a blank. Then I remembered what Grant had said a few weeks earlier. We had been talking on Discord while he was also helping me with two of my own tracks. I asked him to send me the raw vocal files, and once I had them, the journey began. Suddenly, everything I had bottled up started to flow into the music.

This is an old demo i found while I was cleaning out some old project maps. At the time I wasn't too happy about it I guess, because I forgot all about it and it collected digital dust for a couple of years. Now I actually quite like it. So I'm uploading it for you guys to have a listen and tell me what you think. I'm going to work some more on this one, see where it takes me.
