It’s magical puzzling together the original sample used in a song & hearing the inspiration behind it. A soulful sample over hard-hitting drums paired with a top-tier verse moves me in a way nothing else can. I’ve discovered so many amazing songs & artists by searching for samples like this one here. I love when the original song is just as amazing as the sampled one, if not better. Some critics try to knock sampling & say it’s not a skillful art form, but I strongly disagree.
