Hailing from the West Midlands, Blackneeyz had a greater appetite for his future than its city limits would allow. From birth to the age of 8, he was partially deaf but still very much into music. After an operation which restored his ability to hear, his love affair with music really took off— and he’s never looked back since. Moving to London to enrol at the Royal Academy of Music, he had laid the foundations of his reputation as a multi-hyphenate, which, over the course of his ten years there, he had the chance to grow to full fruition. London was a place of reinvention.
