When two of Europe’s most notorious dub producers and an international cast of singers meet up to discus the start of the Great War 100 years ago, you know the results are going to be big. « Empire Soldiers » is the often overlooked story of the colonial troops in World War One, a heavyweight musical collaboration with an emotive set of lyrical tales from Africa, Asia and The Caribbean told by Madu Messenger, Parvez, Sir Jean and Mohammed El Amraoui.

"Goated" is 131 BPM of pure, hypnotic groove. 

This track rides on a soft, driving bassline and satisfying percussion, blending the weight of hip-hop with the chilled-out flow of reggae. It's a natural head-nodder that makes you move without even trying.

Proud to say the guitars, bass, horns, and synths are all original tracks, with the piano throwing in a rhythmic reggae chord stab. A true labor of love and definitely one of my favorites so far. Drop a comment and let me know what you think!
