Spartaque's IAMTECHNO looks straight ahead with its third release, and the Ukranian boss himself graces us once again with a thundering original.

Sporting a cavernous approach, "Killing Me Softly" goes forth with a menacing synth stab and a down & dirty vocal over a booming rhythm section.

Christian Cambas takes over the first remix, with razor sharp hats in the lead and adds some big-room stabs over the ensuing mayhem while Stimpack & Norma present a locomotive of a remix with their pulsing sub bass and apocalyptic breakdown, completing the shattering third installement of the label.

If you understand techno music, you will know of The Anxious. Their works shaped the mechanical techno sound of the millennium - brutal music that is respected throughout all corners of the true techno movement. This new release from them takes a deeper approach to their signature sound, stripping their music down to a melancholy, desolate feel rather than their earlier fast paced material. This is still as brutal, but deeper – tight percussion that feeds into your head; sounds that both shock and disturb; a story of The Anxious that needs to be told.

Established in September 2000, Blackout Audio is one of the worlds leading techno record labels. Owned by The Anxious aka Mark Anxious and Chrissi Blackout (Chrissi Whizz) the first stage in their development saw a barrage of vinyl releases from the biggest names in the techno world at the time - Chris McCormack, Patrik Skoog, Glenn Wilson, Inigo Kennedy, Hardcell, Robert Natus, DJ Ogi and The Space DJz, as well as The Anxious themselves. 

Thousands flocked to the Blackout Audio website and became part of their Underground Network – a web forum for like-minded individuals that allows regular contributors to share their knowledge with anyone and everyone who wants to be a part of the community. It is still going to this day.

In 2005 Blackout Audio began to produce its own radio show, which took over from Carl Cox on Moscow’s Megapolis FM and was also aired nationally in the Ukraine on Star FM. It’s still presented by Mark Anxious aka Mark EG and guests have included Kevin Saunderson, Cari Lekebusch, Chris Liebing, Joris Voorn, Mistress Barbara, Steve Stoll, Neil Landstrumm and many other legendary techno names. All the shows and up-to-date feeds are available via the Blackout Audio website.

2011 saw the label start to focus on the digital side of music – starting with their subdivision Blackout Audio Remastered, which takes all their classic vinyl releases and brushes them up for the digital world. A powerhouse of innovative and new releases have since been uncovered.
