With some of the genre’s most technically adept artists, the track-listing alone is enough to grab your attention. There is a high calibre of production standard present throughout the LP, audible from start to finish. 

Whether you become submerged by Freek’s rolling ‘Enamoured’, accompanied by the pristine vocals of Pia Thaleia, or captured by the apocalyptic sounds of Slang Banger’s ‘Slaughter House’, every taste is catered for. But relative newcomer Elliott Mac uses the LP as a pedestal for another stellar production. The budding artist flexes his capabilities across the soundscape of ‘Filter City’, delicately composed yet highly intricate. It’s demonstrative of Program’s dedication to emerging artists, sifting through cyberspace to showcase some of the best acts the underground has to offer.

A relatively new guy on the scene already proving to be quite a talent with a string of releases on labels such as Renegade Hardware, Rise Audio and Noisia's imprint Invisible, it was obvious to us that Signal had to develop something for the lucrative Binary series. Jon Signal delivers too, for a guy of only 16 years of age there's quite a career set ahead of him.

Blackout Podcast 55 - Neonlight

It was only last year that we first introduced the Blackout affiliated production duo Neonlight on this blog. Back then of course, they were preparing to make their inaugural Farringdon visit as part of the Utecht label’s Room Two Takeover in July 2015 and since, the pair have become an intrinsic part of the camp homing their debut LP My Galactic Tale released back in May. The album not only gifts us with a multitude of unique and meticulous d&b cuts but it also perfectly outlines the boys' adept ability to bring musicality, attitude and future forward creativity together.

Lucky for us then, they'll be championing this exact sound on Friday when they once again will join the Blackout gang for their Room Two takeover and so, in aid of the upcoming proceedings hype and to toast the release of their album, we kindly asked if they'd record yet another exclusive promo mix.
