Black Palace is an independent label / artist collective exploring unconventional musical forms, sound art, field recordings and composition.

With decades of experience in numerous musical incarnations and scenarios behind us, black palace is an attempt to explore our ever broadening palette for unconventional musical forms, sound art, field recordings, composition and the execution of experimental recording concepts.

Our emphasis is on a DIY aesthetic, giving our artists as much freedom as they would like to conceive and deliver releases which explore their own interests, both sonically and aesthetically. Our own love of the collection of recordings on physical formats, alongside the convenience and accessibility offered by digital mediums, informs our output, with physical releases complemented by one off downloads and streams.
