Black Rain was formed in 2007. They're based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The genres of music that they mostly play are Rock and Alternative Rock. The main members at that time were Eldon Lopes on guitar and keyboard and Edwin Betancur on drums. Between 2007 and 2008, BR did not have a bassist. In July 2008, Greg St. Jean joined as a second guitarist, but in 2009 he switched to bass. For the last three years the band worked on several cover songs, such as Let It Be, Uprising, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and First Date. In 2010, BR played their first show at Tolman Highs talent show. Since mid-2009, BR has decided to redo their original songs to make an EP. On August 30, 2010, BR released their first EP, entitled "Black Rain", on the internet. For the summer of 2012, BR will be recording their debut album at True Music Studios, in Smithfield Rhode Island.
