SERITA'S BLACK ROSE Jammie Award Winner for Best EP of 2012, and three time Eclipse Award Winner, Serita Crowley is Grand Rapids Michigan's own Funk, Rock, Neo-Soul songstress extraordinaire that's setting the midwest on fire! This talented artist/singer/song-writer touches all four corners of the compass with flavors ranging from Chaka Khan, Jill Scott, Betty Davis, Mary J Blige, KoKo Taylor, and many more. She has been an opening performer for the legendary Smokey Robinson, and has shared the stage with artists such as Brian Vanderark of the Verve Pipe, the Queen of the blues, KoKo Taylor, and the hardest working man in showbiz, Mr. James Brown. When she performs, she brings an enormous amount of energy and stage presence that will definitely make you move your feet!
