Since 2013, experimental Italian producer Carlo Whale has been making waves, developing and honing his craft in his hometown of Cagliari. Inspired by his surroundings he has worked to present an emotive, distinctive and unique sound by pursuing boundaries between music, technology and nature. He has deepened his connection with synthetic sounds with a degree in Electronic Music at Cagliari Conservatory under various influences that range from Erik Satie to Nils Frahm and David August.

Carlo Whale’s organic approach to music finds his emotions reflected in the nature around him and with this mindset he's establish himself as one of the most exciting breaking-trough artists of 2021.

Daniel Reifenberg is like the sun and the moon: a harmonic interaction. The passionate DJ is since 1991 into Electronic Beats and in the mid 90s he set to music one party after the other. His genres are so full like the book diversity in the state library of Berlin. He takes his listeners on a journey in electronic music landscapes full of adventures and variety between gently sounds and wild party music for the crowd. Who wants thier audience to shake their asses and dance off should order Daniel Reifenberg behind the decks. The nature lover make it that his listeners stay in a atmosphere while moving their hips in the same time. The DJ-enthusiast is not just playing track by track. He tells much more sound tales, which remain in the body and the mind. The red thread from the first tone until the last beat make his sessions unforgettable.

Daniel Reifenberg produces with his best friend Silvio aka Sepsi-TT music since 2014. Next to tracks and a live band project they shape individual club nights, enthusiastic partys and transform open air locations to a inspiring music happening. Their current project called FreLab unites studio, video and artist meeting point in one setting. Artists, DJs and newcomer from the electronic milieu come together and share their passion for music. Friends and artists who joining this heart project are Max Lindemann, Fuxia, Ascon Bates, the collective Insel der Visionen, the crew of the Leipziger Club Brotfabrik and the Club Trafo.

Sie bestimmt unser Leben und ist doch ein mysteriöses Ding.
Viele Eigenschaften der Zeit treffen auch auf unsere neue EP „Mystery“ zu. Von dieser EP kann man auch nicht genug bekommen und die Tracks scheinen im ersten Moment sehr lang zu sein. Vor allem der Original Mix vom Düsseldorfer Tim Kollberg nimmt sich Zeit, um die Intensität behutsam aufzubauen und beständig steigen zu lassen. Dennoch ist der Hörgenuss gefühlt zu schnell wieder vorbei, da die einzelnen Elemente perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt sind und es im Arrangement ständig etwas Neues zu entdecken gibt.

After spending some years developing this beautiful adventure, where I have been able to meet great DJs and producers, and where it has been a great pleasure to be able to work with all of them at a maximum level, I must say goodbye to this beautiful, fun and magical channel, with this new and last episode 40 to close this wonderful journey.

I wanted to make this channel in homage and gratitude to the music that has given me the opportunity to go back into this wonderful world once again, although in a more relaxed way. The idea was to create a channel with a magical and deep style, with a simple idea of ​​superhero children, to have the feeling that we were flying together in each of the episodes feeling big and powerful like them. I hope I have achieved it. But now I need that time to continue learning and improving in the world of production, which is another part of music that fascinates me. I will continue to maintain my B2B channel, although with fewer collaborations, I will also do some collaborations on some radio and with some good friend, but I am very sorry, since I had a great time and I had become fond of this channel, I must close it.

▌I What’s your history with music in general and DJ-ing especially?
I've always been fascinated by music. I've been deejaying all my conscious life. I started playing at the age of 14. At first, it was house parties, and then the big student parties started. A bit later my friend and I started doing our own events. Last year our event company turned 10 years old. 

Also I worked as a nightclub art director for many years. 
Music, events and DJing is where I've been all my life :)

▌II What’s your favorite club and what’s your favorite festival - explain why!
There are a lot of great clubs in Berlin, but one is very special to me. Watergate is one of my favorite clubs. I like the design, lineups and everything there. And it reminds me a little of the club in my hometown Odessa, where I worked as art director for many years.

▌III How did you prepare this mix and what was your main inspiration?
I wanted to collect all the brightest music that have come out recently. All the tracks that made an impression on me. Enjoy listening to it.
