An artist with many colours in his palette, Antonio Olivieri has spent time quietly waiting in the shadows mastering his latest EP release ‘Dynamo’. Much expectation has surrounded Antonio Olivieri since previous release ‘Rudiments’ demonstrated the panache and eclectic vibrancy of this young artist’s taste. The 4 tracks featured on the EP do all this and more as Antonio delivers a unique and diverse spectrum of house music at its finest.

Title track ‘Dynamo’ is a subdued love affair that finds gentle synth work recashaying and reverberating against a progressive 4/4 beat. The track gains purpose and drive through a strong chunky bassline that pedals through a medley of rising and falling filter work and luscious vocals. 

The next track is anything but what the title may suggest, ‘Wrong’. Shivering synths wash over a steady and progressive beat, whilst teasing chords frivolously dash between swaying melodies. 'Wrong' is a track that rides off into the dusk and would not find itself out of place at any afterparty. 

‘Needing You’ is ripe with nostalgia as Antonio Olivieri combines a bouncing groove and a soulful vocal sample to create a fresh old school vibe. Sharply plucked chords gradually build with intensity to make for a powerful crescendo, perfect for the dancefloor as revelers and club goers alike reach the climax of their nights.

The final fling in this chapter comes from Beatamines with his remix of ‘Dynamo’. Sweeping hi-hat work and a tendered clap put energy into this enchanting remix. Beatamines sharpens the elements to galvanize and arouse any dormant aspects that may have been missed from the original.
