Trilla Baby

This beat album is dedicated to my Grandfather, Frank Gilford, Sr, who passed away on April 21, 2016. 

My Grandfather was a huge fan of music, mostly from the Doo-Wop era (1950's - 1960's). His house was surrounded by Vinyls. He had an entire living room surrounded by Vinyls! It fascinated me how many he had!  As a kid, he would play me some of his old records and I would listen to stories about them. All of the music was interesting but the stories he would tell kept me hooked! He used to call me his "Ace Boo Coo" meaning friend and/or close companion. After he passed, I decided to take some of his old 45's (vinyls) and make music for him this Father's Day. He turned me into the music fan that I am today. If it wasn't for him, I don't think I would love music as much as I do now. He was a prominent Father figure in my life and I miss him dearly. 

This is dedicated to my Grandfather. I hope your spirit is resting peacefully. I'll see you again. Thank you for everything you've taught me.
