2015 is definitely DisasZt’s year! The label head-honcho teams up this time with one of the MC legends in the Drum & Bass Scene, MC Coppa, and brings you the “Trojan Horse”…

After the collaboration single with Protune & a feature in the Mainframe Soldiers Series, DisasZt returns into the scene with an epic, yet perfect track to finish up this summer in a breath-taking way, showing his intention to create something personal but relevant to the whole scene.

A combination of intricate drum edits, a heavy complex sound & precise vocals: The “Trojan Horse” will be stopping wherever you want.

Also joining up on this single are two duos, Telekinesis and our label-own fire starters Dossa & Locuzzed. Telekinesis’ remix is stepping up the level of heaviness, incorporating their dominant style, once again with Coppa’s vocals.

Finishing up this masterpiece is Dossa&Locuzzed’s remix, calming down the mood with a tremendous array of drum patterns and typical bass growls. The Austrian duo is showing us, yet again, the power of their production style.

One year had passed since the devastation of mankind. All life ravaged by the undead plague, a tide of death sweeping across the planet mercilessly, as the ever-growing mass of the lifeless swelled in its wake. The sentient population of the globe was reduced to pitiful numbers, hiding in the wreckage of once vibrant cities, long since destroyed in the futile battle for survival. Where once there was hope for survival, now remained only the ember of a desperate memory of a different future. The cycle of the dead was ever in motion, their ragged forms roaming in packs, haunting the urban desolation. Ever-dimming senses of their terminal animated corpses constantly ready to consume the living. An endless yearning to feed drove them relentlessly onwards through the desolate shadows of civilization’s end, whilst the earth below those skulking feet continued its galactic voyage obliviously. Above one such horde, a celestial alignment was unfurling in the cold depths of space. As the sun burned blood red against the horizon and the moon slid serenely across its infernal face, the light dimmed as heavy shade drew across planet. The shuffling of the horde paused as distant poured their anguish into the sky at the early arrival of night. Rotting faces raised to the heavens, the light of that unholy corona spilling across their putrid features. The dying rays of a bleak sunset penetrating their rotting sockets, as the SOLAR ECLIPSE leveled darkness upon the earth with raging eternal might.
 
Hungarian neurofunk legend CHRIS.SU returns to the EATBRAIN label in full force, following up his ‘Underground Culture’ label anthem and State of Mind Collaboration ‘Chariots’ with his first full EP – SOLAR ECLIPSE. From the eerie and suspenseful atmosphere of the title track in collaboration with label core JADE & MINDSCAPE, to the driven filth of THE LAST LAUGH, wrapped in the sinister lyrics of NUKLEAR, through to the shimmering but powerful sci-fi aesthetics of THE ARROW, Chris.SU delivers a pure slice of heaviness for one of dnb’s most vibe-laden imprints. Amidst a vast lattice of cable & wire, a sole individual worked with inhuman fervour at his craft, bearing forth a constant flow of invention unto the dismal depths of his laboratory. He had sequestered himself here in this catacomb of creation with single-minded purpose, devoted entirely to a code of his own as he endeavoured towards all that had not been done before. Without thought for life or limb he set himself frantically to his craft. Before him, every vial was an opportunity, every electrical surge a moment of bliss, and every elemental synthesis a pathway forwards into the unknown.

For weeks, months, and even years the individual worked at a feverish pace, a hermit within an ever growing den of discarded reagents and the husks of former inventions repurposed for a greater cause. For all of his creations, such time alone had begun to take its toll upon the man, and as it marched on new thoughts came to his mind. “Escape....” came first, “I must show them the way” then came second, bearing upon him with an inescapable force. With his frenzy now turned outwards the inventor burst forth from the doors of his laboratory, clutching a variety of inventions in his grasp. Bathed in the light of the world beyond, the inventor sprinted into the street, shouting of his miracles as his SANITY TRIP drove his feet.

NUKLEAR debuts his first full artist EP on EATBRAIN with SANITY TRIP. Long known as a premiere MC within the neurofunk scene, NUKLEAR has appeared on multiple collaborations across EATBRAIN as well as RAM Records, Virus, and Viper. In bringing together many influences such as the heavy metal sonics of WHIPLASH, SANITY TRIP sees NUKLEAR bring the focus firmly to his own dynamic lyrical abilities across five tracks with an equally diverse lineup of co-conspirators including MINDSCAPE, PYTHIUS, STATE OF MIND, TEDDY KILLERZ, THE CLAMPS, & KRITIX.
