Have you ever seen a funky crustacean? Well @djslappycrab is about as funky as you can get with two claws and no spine. Known for slappin’ out UK garage, house and breaks, this saltwater selector has the benefit of millions of years of evolution and almost a decade behind the decks. Starting out life on the sea floor, he eventually washed up on the golden shores of Laois, Ireland, where during his formative years he mutated into humanoid form. The next logical destination was Berlin: UKG capital of the world - where he crabwalked his way into our hearts.

Info: Intruder.wav is the ideologue of the Carte Blanche label, a party organizer and producer from Chelyabinsk.
This EP was made on direct percussion and stabs, without the influence of timeless fashion trends. You can listen to it in different planes in order or backwards, start with the even ones, and continue with the odd ones and vice versa, everyone will find the optimal sequence for themselves.

The idea of these excerpts lies in the stab of each individual track, because the stab is something short, so to speak, fleeting, like life and everyone lives this life in their own way, and the direct blow that accompanies you throughout the whole path is like a metronome, that is, a certain programmed step, like time.

for this months episode of INVITADXS, host neeyuu invited nasty lecka and 2uca from würzburg. nasty lecka is a resident dj at dornheim, part of the “avoid the subject” collective and co-running a party series called supersport. 2uca is neeyuus long-time djing and producing partner in their project sollbruchstelle. nasty lecka and 2uca have just started a new party series in würzburg together, focusing on slower, low-key clubmusic. their beton.fm b2b represents this sound and is quite dark, bassy and dubby while being very danceable. we hope you enjoy!

Info: In June, we will reach the halfway point of the year, and we will celebrate the moment in which we complete a project that we have been idealizing for a long time. A split between Discos Extendes and the label Lovers & Lollypops, puts side by side two of the most relevant and prolific artists in music made in Portuguese territory: Bruno Silva and his project “Serpente” and João Pais Filipe, Leon Marks and Valentina Magaletti with “CZN”. Two projects that developed in parallel, but with a mutual interest in the strength of the rhythm and the textures and timbral richness of percussion sounds. The similarities are undeniable. A mutual admiration, also.
