Summer 2023 see’s the return of Waterford’s Stephen Richards to Hot Digits Music with a stunning 3 track EP! “Trax In-House EP” see’s the Disco Daze honcho bringing his signature vibes with a journey through his house music side. “The Warehouse” kicks off the proceedings with a Crazy P style piano stomper with added saxophone licks before we go for a deeper 3am vibe with “South Side”. Get Down Edits Daz collaborates on “Heard It” the third track with Mr Richards and as with their other team ups in the past it does not disappoint. Think some classic Miguel Migs dubs and you are on the right track… a warm house burner for sure. Hot Digits boss Fingerman gets to work on the remix of “The Warehouse” upping the ante and bringing some peak-time percussion into the mix!

Smashed Atoms & Kathy Diamond make a most welcome return to the Hot Digits stable with a tasty two-part tray bake of special remix treatment applied to their 2020 hit ‘Lifted’. 

For Part 1, we kick off with the Smashed Atoms Remaster - a 115bpm tickle under the arm pits which immediately reminds us of Ms Diamond’s supreme vocal talents (as if we needed reminding!) The voice and the arrangement blend perfectly with the confident synth stabs and chords, gorgeously timed beats and solid bassline. 

Next up is the Sauco Remix. Sauco applies a hypnotic brush here – the vocal is notably more haunting in his kitchen. The ethereal start quickly builds into a delightfully melodic, classic late-night tales acid groover. Summer ain’t over yet, folks! 

Closing things out for Part 1 is the “Fingerman and Chewy Rubs Club Dub”. As you’d expect from this pair of mischief makers, things get taken up several notches with a bouncy, sassy prime-time rump shaker which teases your brain with acid loops and lashings of swirls and sweeps.
