We, at The Black Umbrella, approached local young artist Lily Anna with details of a collaboration to raise awareness of depression in teenagers. She graciously accepted and, after working with us to write lyrics, gave us this intimate performance.

The song "Heavy Heart" is from the perspective of a teenager, initially frightened to voice their pain and loss of interest in the things that used to bring them joy. During the duration of the song, they perception shifts as they reach out to someone and realise that their feelings are not a burden they have to carry alone.
