WHO ARE THA DEVIANTS?

Imagine to yourself, what would happen if Kanye West, Just Blaze, Dr. Dre, Quincy Jones and J. Dilla combined to make a group like The Neptunes? The answer is Tha Deviants. Built on the foundation of classics, Tha Deviants have not only taken notes from the best, they have also pioneered their own sound. All artists and producers that listen to the amazing sounds of Tha Deviants have been fascinated by the quality and the creativity of the music. So what makes Tha Deviants so unique? What gives them their edge over the competition? People say that it’s their drive, and open-mindedness that keep their sound so fresh. Before Cool Joe Graduated from high school, he wanted to put together a production group so that collaborating and doing something different would be easier. So, he then began calling up all the best producers he knew. After many phone calls, and many meetings, he created Tha Deviants with three original members. As time passed, members would come and go; however, Cool Joe and Kidd 88 stuck by the group and saw success in only a year of being together. The group was then made official; Kidd 88 brought the sound of the west coast and a keen ear for mixing, while Joe brought in the soul and R&B grooves. Over the years they developed a sound with so much presence and substance that it was undeniable to even the biggest haters in the industry that these boys were headed for greatness. Tha Deviants have sold over 5000 tracks in the last 7 years. They have hypnotized the music industry with their unique brand; by creating a new genre of music. Tha Deviants consist of two members: Cool Jo AKA Joseph Aleman age 24 and Kidd 88 AKA Luis Lopez age 24. The group has existed for a little over 7 years, but independently have been performing/writing music for years. As a group, they strive to make music not only unique to the music industry but also unique to certain artists. They both come from entirely different backgrounds; therefore, many different kinds of music are used and mixed together. Other than creating tracks, they direct music videos and and films as well as create animations. Tha Deviants also write lyrics for many different genres of music including, but not limited to; R&B, Hip Hop, Rock N Roll, Country, and even Pop.
