Stargazed Yearnings

This is the short Peacock mix version.

Sorry, I know when you think "Techno" you think 4/4 beats, but I have a pattern of different ancient beats: 

* Masmoudi (Ancient Arabian)
* Saidi (Ancient Pharonic Egyptian)
* Maqsuum (Ancient Arabian) 

Theses kinds of beats were originally played on ancient drums called Dumbek or Darnuka used in The Middle East, North Africa, Asia Minor, and around the Mediterranean area. 

But, I also used Roland TB-303 Acid clips, along with other modulator 303 Acid, and various other audio effects & recorded audio.  It's also not a "True" Acid, because it doesn't modulate. 

The audio samples I used were all shareware, and this track is also published on New Grounds.com You can download it there. Just search "BlackUniGryphon"

I am totally fine with anyone using this audio clip. I worked a long time on tweeking it. So, if you want to use it, that's totally OK with me.

You will need at least some better quality speakers to get the full effect/feeling of what it SHOULD sound like. 
It's more of a percussion pattern piece with modular analogue synthesizer sound effects, and mood , and less of a "song". 

Acid Dumbek (Lil' Peacock Mix)

This was my original Peacock mix, and it's a bit longer... slightly more ambient audio mixed in. 

No 4/4 beats Techno here.

Ancient Beats:

Mixed with clips from 303 Acid, but no modulation so it's not a "true" 303 Acid, and also no 4/4 beats.

Here is the Full Length Version of my Acid Dumbek. 
I had originally composed/arranged something like this, and this was the mix I preferred the best.

Again, NOT a "true" 303 Acid because it doesn't modulate, and no 4/4 beats.

The beats/rhythms are ancient beats played originally in ancient times on a dumbek/darbuka drum (or zills & tambourines but none in here). 

The beats I used:

* Masmoudi (ancient Arabian)
* Saidi (ancient Pharonic Egyptian)
 * Maqsuum (Ancient Arabian) 

Why? Because these are my favorite of dumbek beats, but most people use Baladi. I'm sorta sick of Baladi.

This mix is JUST The Rhythmic mix, no special ending, no other extra elements. 

No 4/4 beats:

Not a "true" Acid, because there's no modulation in the arrangement.

It's a Masmoudi beat/rhythm (Arabian)

But, this one has much more of an Acid flavor than my other stuff.

I actually haven't done anything with it, but out of all the loops I'd experimented with from this time, I liked this one. 

Go ahead & use it if you like. I haven't actually done anything with it yet.

Eastern Ambient Night Chill [10 Min LoFi Mix]

I don't currently have that much audio stuff to show, but I have published content to NewGrounds & YouTube. 

I have varied tastes in music. My Ultimate favorite stuff is TECHNO. I especially LOVE: Happy Hardcore, Hardcore, Vintage Eurodance/HI-NRG, modern Eurodance, old school HI-NRG, and I like the newer styles of Dub Step.
I do like House, but not ALL House music is good, and I like vintage Roland TB-303 Acid, or general 303 Acid, and I like some Electro. I like music Pop Music from the 1980s & 1990s. I liked New Wave/Deutsche Neu Welle, Synth Pop, and also when synthesizers began to bleed into the early 1980s Disco-tech scene. I also think Disco is lovely. 

I also listen to Chinese Pop Music, KPop, JPop.

Another BIG one is New Age. I like ALL kinds of New Age. Electronic, Electronica, sometimes Trance, but also analogue, Ethnic Fusion, Tribal Fusion, Bellydance, World Music, Celtic, yoga/meditation, Taiji, East Indian, folk, Middle Eastern, North African, and experimental. 

Once in a while, I like some Goth Industrial or Ambient stuff. 

I like independent musicians/artist/bands, and also finding rare or unknown records. I especially love it when I find something rare in a genre I loved from a few decades ago. 
I also DO NOT CARE WHAT LANGUAGE a song is in. I ONLY care that its sounds good, and the FEELING is good.
