The eve of change is upon us! Blæti has arisen from the depth of the sea of music. A dark and terrifying shark of jazz, punk, balkan and metal has reached the shores of humanity and is bloodthirsty.

Blæti was originally only a trio back in 2006, Borgþór Jónsson did not join the band on bass until later in Blæti´s career. Ever since the quartett materialized they played in various venues and festivals in Iceland. They took part in the 2008 Músíktilraunir with the Bass player and Keyboard player getting special prizes for skills on their instruments. After the Músíktilraunir they were invited to play on the big stage on Iceland´s national day of independence, and were well recieved. After that they have picked up Helgi on the Sexophone along the way and became a reunion band each Christmas and Summer when the members are reunited.
