I forced myself to write these words to you

yet the sound, so loud I can hear the beat.

They speak now, always have spoken.
How everyday my eyes seek for you.
How much I love gazing at your endless eyes.
How hymns come out of your emerald voice.
How clouds collapse on your rosy cheeks.
How roses are ashamed of your lips.
How you turn darkness into night,
and weave the day from threads of light!

Oh, how you move so gracefully,
like a falling leaf -
you dance over the breeze,
gently cascading,
till the earth kisses you feet
for the softness of your ways.

They speak now, always have spoken.
But you should not hear the words
for they are meant to be unheard.
To be only written and read by me.
To be only spoken and heard by me.
How much I long for you over the echoes.
Caressing. Like a hymn, whispering.
How much I love you under the shadows.
