This 4-track EP is crafted to encapsulate a journey through feelings and experiences, mirroring the landscapes of a temperature map. Starting from dreamy synth-pop it goes in into the depths of intensive electro and acid techno.

Picture yourself on a "cooled down" evening with a purple-hued sky. It’s beautiful, yet regrets and failed actions from the past weigh heavy, evoking a sense of deep blue [Track 1: Drown]. Transitioning to a warm yellow color, reminding of a change and a rush of emotions, tangled with both desire and doubt [Track 2: Modulate]. As the intensity builds and the temperature rises, there is an orange/red zone, where dedication burns bright, and the need for UV protection becomes paramount [Track 3: UV protection]. Finally, reaching a harmonious middle ground, you embrace the full spectrum of emotions akin to the changing seasons, culminating in a vibrant green [Track 4: Re.drown in acid].

EN: The fourth conversational and musical episode of Welofi Show. We dedicated it to the well-known Roland TB-303 synthesizer and music. We've discussed its creation, a little about history and listened to the origins of the records with famous 303! The second half gives a brief overview of the «Locked Radio: 303 day VA», which will be released on streamings by the March 30th - short conversation about the participants of our upcoming VA compilation and their music.

This track is a part of «Tricks» EP by Monokle

St.Petersburg-born artist Monokle developed his own, distinctive style across a range of releases on Ki Records, Constellation Tatsu, Error Broadcast, and other labels that might align him with any particular flavor of bass, ambient, electronic, or dance music.

A welcome return to his home label Fuselab, showcases Monokle’s expert mastery of deep cinematic joyride through shimmering bass lines and ambient pads to euphoric and evocative elegies.

Each track on ‘Tricks’ does sound like a world unto itself, shaping the linear narrative from a myriad of living organisms, with complex patterns forming at every scale. ‘Tricks’ is undoubtedly Monokles’s most balanced work to date, bringing together intimate sound environments that carry an uneasy tension between unstoppable grooves and melancholic positivity with perfectly equalise light and dark.
