Serious Truth and Blaq Poet lyrically paint a vivid, first person picture of what it might be like to be an insurrectionist on the streets of any major US city in 2020. Sparked by the racially motivated murder of George Floyd at the hands of the police, they made a decision to usher in a resurgence of politically conscious, radical hiphop in an attempt give a voice to the streets through their music with DJ Grazzhoppa delivering a clear message on the chorus. Every revolution needs a quality soundtrack.
